I’m putting my 1980CJ-7 up for sale. I have had it since winter of 2011. Great Jeep for the summer time and definitelya head turner!
-AMC 360 V8 (came from an older jeep wagoner), 4-barrelledelbrock carb, with 4-speed transmission.
-New clutch, distributor, wires, and plugs
-solid body (I bought the jeep when I lived in Wyoming)
-Recently redone dual side mufflers (NICE RUMBLE, but nottoo loud)
-lift with new 33x10.50’s with full size spare
-inside tub and roll bar have been sprayed with liner coatwith roll bar cover
-New seat mounts and Bestop seats
-New windshield frame with new wipers
Heres a list ofthings that need attention:
-The body mounts need to be replaced. Some are cracking
- Currently has a primer coat that is chipping in some places.
-Parking brake cables need to be attached.
-The wiper linkage is assembled, but a new wiper motor isneeded.
-Front KC light wires are not attached.
- Recently had a leak in one of my fuel lines (the returnline was clamped off). Everything still runs fine, but I definitely recommendreplacing the fuel lines before anything.
I recently changedthe oil and coolant. The drive shafts and u-joints have recently been replaced.I recommend replacing the slip yoke soon. The brakes have been checked and areworking fine. But these are older brakes and I would recommend a brakeoverhaul. That was going to be next on my list. I also have a new battery tray, new seat belts and attachments. But allof these have not been attached yet.
I’m asking $ 5500. Please, only serious offers and NO TRADES! This is a great running jeepfor somebody who wants to put the time and money into further working on it andrestoring it. I only drive it once every 2 weeks and that’s just to keep thingslubed up. I recently moved into a new place and I have no place to work on itanymore. It currently is being housed inmy storage unit. Email me at slimharp@hotmail.com with any questions .
Thanks
Regan
