This is the brand the SWMCD tested. The brand I used in Pt. Washington was of all things, Martha Stewart's brand, that I found by happy chance on a rare excursion to K-Mart. I haven't seen that in many years, don't knw if it's still being made. I think this was before she spent some time behind bars.

There is a faint smell of garlic for a day or two, very faint, doesn't last, but the repellant or whatever property lasts a good while, even through several rains. You want to spray when it's not raining and likely not to rain for a day or so.

DL, I absolutely love blue herons and this morning one was waiting on the pond's edge where I bring my dogs out each morning. Of course, my lab chased him, causing him to fly - loudly- to the bank across the pond. Did you know that they are considered a good omen and symbol of wisdom?

Susan, please post your salmon burger recipe. It sound delish. And I, too, will pray for your boys' safe arrival.
