30-A Marching Band

New posts
I just read the article in the Fort Walton Daily News about the march in protest of the noise ordinance because musicians need to make a living too........you got to be kidding me? I like the parade idea, but I wouldn't want to be living behind Salty Dog while the music is blasting. I have to side with the neighbor and I hope Mr. Steeno will try to work things out....it's the right thing to do.

Chalk another one up for our County Commission who passed the noise ordinance without a thought or care that the "noise meter" used by our deputies is not user friendly, apparantly, since no one knows how to use it...according to the NW Fla Daily News.

Whatever happened to folllow up? How does one train a deputy to use a noise meter?

The argument years ago was that why is the noise ordinance not for the whole county just certain parts. I remember the Red Bar debacle. A certain past county commissioner lived down the street. Oh yea, my grammar sucks, now I can go to U of Alabama!:idontno:
