331 Bridge Work USE CAUTION !

Work on the Choctawhatchee Bay Bridge in Walton County will begin the week of Monday, March 25. Pneumatic Concrete Company, Inc. has been awarded a repair and rehabilitation contract to replace finger joints on the structure. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. The project will be complete summer 2013.


Drivers are reminded to pay attention and use caution, especially at night, when driving through the work zone.

There are no seasons with DOT - plus it's pretty durn cold on the bridge at night in winter. By the same token, they work on I-10 during football season.

At least it's at night.
