I cannot wait I have not been since June of this year. Although I am only going to be here for the 27-30, I will get in plenty of kayak and biking time in. Altough I am going to be in SOWAL by myself...hummmm....the posibilities
 
How much longer before you know your LSAT score? We got some good news about my daughters good friend who took the MCAT this summer! She thought maybe she hadn't done so well....My daughter says her score is Harvardish!!! She really wants to go to Emory for med school. Smart girl wants to stay in the SOUTH!!!

I will know on Monday October 24th. I am so nervous about it. I want to go to law school at Emory, and yes she is smart for wanting to stay in the South, I do not think that I could live anywhere else! My predominant thought is that I didn't do as well as I had hoped for. The questions are so hard and each section has a time limit of 35 minutes attached to it, so I had to just hit the ground running on each section. The average score is about a 154 (scores from 120-180). Emory likes to see an applicant have at least a 161. Harvard and Yale like to see 170+, but I am not applying to either of these schools, in fact Boston College is the only school up north that I will be applying to. UVA is my long shot school and I guess it is in the Mid-Atlantic. But Emory is top choice and Georgia is my second.

If it helps, I will be thinking of large numbers for you!!! Ya' know, my daughter is looking at a graduate program at Georgia!! Now, is this a small world or what? Emory does not have the program she wants...plus she got stuck overnight in Atlanta last weekend after missing a flight because of traffic and LONG security lines....the first time she visited Atlanta, Hurricane Dennis grounded her for two days!

You should call WLaner. She's going to be down there. Have you gotten in touch with her? Maybe J-Funn will be there as well. Quite the threesome eh?
 
Is the 27-30 next weekend? I have to go to a wedding in Mobile. Haven't been out of Sowal since August. Yikes. What's the outside world like I wonder?

Oh yeah, I was in New York in September. That doesn't count I didn't drive there. :bang:
