A Brief Underwater Synopsis

The past few days have been amazing for me. First, I met some amazing people here recently out in the Gulf. Good people. What made our union so wonderful was my ability to show them a few things about 'under the water'.

I have developed somewhat of a routine, although Nature is constantly moving, I know some sweet spots. I was able to take them around in the water and find: Sting ray, star fish, flounder, a wonderful assortment of shells, puffer fish, of course sand dollars, spanish mackerel, king, lady fish etc., and some other interesting things.

I also brought them to my house and showed them a magnificent find, a skull found in teh gulf waters, that I will display for you guys here as soon as my camera situation is remedied.

Really just checking in with this post. The Nurse shark are not out so I assume the large amount I was constantly seeing previously was there in a migratory route or doing some mating. But I will have a little footage gathered while my brother was here with me once I get my camera and can complete a piece of video.

As an aside, it is a wondeful fruit/gem when you are able to connect with someone on a special level, as I did with the people I spent the past few days with. I am one to walk the trails and swim the ocean and bask in the wonders of Nature. But good human interaction, when it strikes to the core, when two people can feel each other intimately and enjoy each others company making it seem as if nothing else exists, that is special.

Human? Have you notified the USCG or some other authority?

I hope you are able to get some shark footage once the camera is back in order. I saw a few on the second sand bar July 3 - 12 but stayed safely in the kayak (except for when I got dumped by rough seas on July 5).

Yes, for a moment I thought it might be homo sapien, but it turned out to be human  About the shark, nope, I think it will be luck now if I come across nurse sharks.

As I said, I was seeing them upwards of 75% of the times I was going out earlier this summer. But now it has been probably 15 times out there with no sightings. That's not just coincidence. But... I'm seeing other interesting things and those little puffer fish are so darn cute.

Btw, by human interaction, I meant 19 year old hotties. I just didn't want to specify. They were fun company.

Another note about the fish out there that is worth mentioning. One bit me. I had this, pilot type fish following me, as they often do. They stay so close to you you can't see them unless you twirl around quickly or you feel them with your hands as you press through the water.

Anyway, I was snorkeling and this one bit my nippe in quick succession like 3 times. Kinda hurt and definately caused me to pause. I'm just not that kinky. Today I had one of them come close and I was aggressive. I felt bad about shunning my admirer but felt so much more comfortable with it not by my chest
