Thanks Allifunn. I'm going to show these to my daughter--Florence is one of her favorite places on earth.

Il Duomo. :clap_1: That is one cool place.
Words can not properly describe it!

I have a hotel recommendation for Firenze. Room 888 at the Hotel Continental - the penthouse with fabulous views of the Ponte Vecchio and Arno River on one side and the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio on the other. There is a terrace on one side of the room overlooking it all, and balconies on the river side. The Hotel Continental has a fabulous location - right at the intersection of the Ponte Vecchio and the street that borders the river. BTW it's well priced.

Also, you have to try Trattoria Giorgio at 100 Via Palazzuolo. The menu is family-style Italian. The primo course was pasta - spaghetti Bolognese, tortellini, macaroni with funghi, macaroni piccante/spicy, fettuccine pomodori. The secondo was veal with funghi, sausage, chicken cacciatore, accompanied by a choice of spinach or a wonderful green salad containing white and green beans. It was excellent, and all of that food for 16,000 lira per person - about 9 dollars!

Beach Runner, that menu sounds divine but you'd be shocked how much prices skyrocked in Italy since the lira was converted to euro. 16,000 lira for a meal like that is a thing of the past. :(

Your photos are stunninly beautiful!! I think I liked the Mykonos ones the best!!! You have a good eye-just like Kurt!
