A Green Tea Party? Why Not?

i love when radicals try to portray themselves are moderates. If you just keep saying it maybe it will work. If you have a problem with the Constitution then yes you're a radical.

I guess the writers of the constitution support radicals then. They included an amendment process for those who have problems with the constitution.

yeah, mostly because this country was founded by a bunch of radicals who revolted against the king!

I have quite a few problems with the Consititution, but I don't consder myself a radical. But I think I understand what you meant. Radicals reject the basic underpinnings of our democracy, which are defined by the Constitution.

I wouldn't consider most liberals to be radicals. They still believe in the baisc tenets - free speech, freedom of religion, property rights, just to name a few. I think the one area where they tend to bump up against the Constitution is with individual rights, they believe individual rights can and should be infringed for the common good. That's probably the biggest difference between conservatives/libertarians and liberals, when you get right down to it. But I wouldn't consder those radical views.

The radical of one century is the conservative of the next. The radical invents the views. When he has worn them out the conservative adopts them.
