A Reason To Watch The State Of The Union Address...

New posts
I'll play.

I thought it was Pakeestahn, though. Come on, he does say that one kinda funny.

How Obama says "Pakistan" is actually how you pronounce it.

I don;t think I have enough liquor or a high enough tolerance for this game - I'll be drunk before the first 5 minutes are up!

OK, sorry.

 Actually, several pronunciations and he uses a little of all of them. Thanks for your commentary, however.

It just drive me nuts that people criticize him for actually saying it PROPERLY.
Note: His pronunciation of Taliban is also correct.

I imagine that the President (or his staff) has done a fair amount of research on the correct pronunciation of these proper names and places, and has determined that he is pronouncing them correctly, or it would have been corrected by now.

Speeches in general, make me want to drink. I'm pretty much over the great speech maker, politicians in general, and the crap that spews from their mouths.

It also makes me crazy that people criticize this (above) and that people make fun of his education--isn't a good education what we all want for our children? and when we get a wonderful role model as President, half the country belittles him.
Where is the reasoning in that? Do we really want a leader who can't pronounce words properly? I guess some people do...but, I surely can not understand why.
