accident on 30a at watercolor

That was a different accident. There is a tree and sign down in the median on hwy 30A. It is the beginning of the median coming from Grayton into Watercolor.

I will take a guess that it involved either a SUV, a cell phone, or an adult beverage.

Whatever happened, it was a done deal when I drove home last night around 9:45 and saw the rearranged boulevard in my rear view mirror.

I stoped at it last night and it was a older man in a chevy truck. He was fine but said it started to rain an he reached down to turn the defroster on and the next thing he seen was he was stoped by the tree and sign. He did not see the road split because he had taken his eyes off the road for just a min. to turn on the defroster.

good thing he ran over the Pedestrian Crossing sign rather than a pedestrian.

My wife Lacey was in the oncoming lane when this guy took his eyes off the road and flipped his vehicle onto the median. We are very lucky he stopped there as he was heading right for her. She stopped and got out to ask if he was alright and his reply was "Yes, I just a big dummy".
