Well, Georgia shut out SC. Spurrier wasn't a happy camper! Tennessee barely squeaked by also. Ainge has such a great game throughout the entire game and had to tarnish it with one late interception. To complete 24 of 29 passes for 334 yards was impressive, cannot believe he threw their only interception with just around 2:44 left in the game, allowing 13 points in under 3 minutes is not acceptable and shows a slacking of defense that shouldn't have occurred. They will have to get that straightened out in a hurry, like this week. But they hung on and won. LSU won big, Alabama won but barely, and Auburn won big over Mississippi State, what I expected. And Ole Miss got clobbered. Florida won but I don't remember the score! Next week will be interesting!

They sure did. I thought Troy had won that. Do ya know what the Florida score ended up being? I have forgotten who they played even? They showed highlights but I was flipping between 3 different games most of the evening. I know the Razorbacks won 20-0, obviously playing a nobody.

Florida beat Central Florida 42-0. Obviously another nobody. Sometimes I think the SEC doesn't ever get the credit it's due as to being one of the stronger conferences but they are. They have so many teams that are consistently strong from year to year.

I feel the same way about the SEC. Let them play some of the other teams and they would realize the SEC is a force to be reckoned with...

I heard that the UGA shutout of Spurrier was Spurrier's first since 1987. :shock: ... and that was with our back up qtr back.
