Because men are too scared to do something like that!lindabobhat said:Lindabobbitt wants to know why everyone automatically assumes that a woman did this????
Smiling JOe said:I guess that would be in the same class as, I think it was Lil' Kim, who burned down her lover's house in Atl. He played for the Braves and had a huge mansion on the golf course at a private club.

Lil Kim went to jail for a fashion Faux Pau....or something of that nature?
P.S. He played for the Falcons. Not the Braves.

bsmart said:Right it was Left Eye. She burned Andre Rison's shoes in his whirl pool tub in his bathroom thinking that the tub was marble or cast iron, when in reality it was a vinyl prefab so it burned along with the shoes--which by her testimony at the time of the investigation, were the only articles she intended to burn. The house is in the St. Ives or St. Marlo Country Club I believe. I wonder who lives there now (If I remember correctly it was only the bathroom that burned not the whole house)?
Smiling JOe said:Seemed like I recall seeing aerial photos of the house mostly destroyed, but that was some time ago. Someone dig up a photo. I want to see that again.
Check out the snippit of the story from www.answers.com/topic/tlc-1
"Their relationship was allegedly filled with violent moments, and Left-Eye filed an assault charge against Rison on September 2, 1993, although Rison later denied battering her. Left-Eye was also battling alcoholism, having been a heavy drinker since her early teen years. After another fight between Left-Eye and Rison in the early morning hours of June 9, 1994, Left-Eye, tipsy from alcohol, tossed numerous pairs of Rison's newly purchased sneakers into a bathtub, doused them with gasoline, and lit them on fire. The Plexiglas bathtub quickly melted and set the structural frame of the house on fire. Although firefighters were called to the scene, the house could not be saved, because of the toxic fumes from the gasoline. Left-Eye was eventually arrested for and indicted on charges of first-degree arson; she was sentenced to five years of probation and required to enter alcoholism rehabilitation. Rison eventually reconciled with Left-Eye, and they continued dating on-and-off for most of the next few years."
