Antique PENNSYLVANIA HOUSE Cherry Buffet Server Cabinet - $550
Antique Early American Buffet Server Cabinet. This piece is a RARE FIND because of its size, age and beauty and dates back to the earlier part of the 1900s and was VERY WELL made and labeled by Monitor Furniture who was Pennsylvania House Furniture Co and they have made some of the HIGHEST quality case goods during the time period.
It has drawers which are all doweled and dovetailed together with traditional brass pull handles and done in the manner of traditional Early American designs of the 17th and 18th Century. It sits on nice bracket feet with beautiful raised panels and pegged joints with nicely figured cherry in a beautiful Satin finish. The bottom doors are all nicely raised and planked. It has a beautiful and exotic naturally figured wood grain pattern.
This piece was VERY WELL made with quality that surpasses ANYTHING that is made today and all wood construction. Glass has been on top for very long time to preserve top of buffet.
It measures approx 42 inches wide, 32 1/4 inches high and approx 19 1/2 inches deep.
