Are You Afraid of the Dark?

OK, I just took out the trash. Enroute I saw; a snake on the front deck, a raccoon tryin to open the fish food container (again) and a turtle. With rain, and dark creepy shadows these things scare me... Next time I'll stick to taking out the trash in the light of day...

The only thing that freaked me one night outside after dark was an unseen something high up in our pine tree that was making weird noises, I flew up the steps on the walk, tripping over the first step but not falling and kept going till I was up the porch steps and in the house, my heart was racing. It turned out it was a owl up in the tree above me. Hubby went out with a flashlight and shined it up in the tree. We are in the city but our neighborhood is wooded. All kind of critters running around here, and flying also.
