Grayton Beach and Athens Georgia artist Susan Pittman will be showing her latest works "Landscapes of 30A" this Saturday, October 28 from 4-7 pm.
Born in North Georgia, Susan attended the University of Georgia where she earned her degree in art education. She taught art in public schools for eight years, and in a city sponsored cultural arts program for four years. In 2005, Susan stopped teaching to open doors for creating her own work.
Susan's new works showcase the beauty and spirituality of South Walton utilizing a unique approach to fabric dye and painting. The result of this stunning new technique highlights a multi dimensional facet to Susan's own spirituality expressed through her art.
