South Walton Montessori Academy is currently looking for 2 Assistant Teachers to join our team. SWMA is a private, non-profit Montessori school with 80 students between the ages of 18 months and 8th grade. We are located in beautiful Pt Washington near Eden State Park. We are currently hiring for 2 positions.
Assistant Teacher in the Primary Classroom (thirty 3 t 6 year olds)
Assistant Teacher in the Lower Elementary Classroom (twenty one 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders)
No experience working with children is required. We are willing to train the right person. The ideal candidate will possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn. The start date for these positions is August 2015, but we would like to have the people we hire spend some time in the classrooms over these last 4 weeks of school to get to know the teachers and the students.
We follow a similar calendar as Walton County public schools. Teachers and Assistants are required to be at school every school day at 7:45AM, and will leave around 3:15PM. PROMPTNESS AND DEPENDABILITY ARE AN ABSOLUTE MUST.
Competitive compensation depending on experience level. School pays 100% of every employee's health insurance year round through BCBS at a cost of $666 per month to the school.
