Do any mountain biking while you were out there
No, but I bet it's spectacular. It was my first time out there and I didn't really know what to expect. I'll be back out there next fall and know what to do.
We went to Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake. It's like being on the moon, or some other equally absurd comparison. Nothing like it in my experience.
I did go to Soldier Hollow for the "Soldier Hollow Sheep Dog Classic". It's an international invitational for Border Collies. Yeah, I know, it sounds dull, watching a dog chase some sheep around. But it's pretty surprising what the best handlers and dogs can do. I've seen it on TV before, but the part I didn't know was that the sheep have never ever been around people, dogs, pens, or gates before the contest. Just wandering around out in a field. On this forum, I hate to use the word "virgin". In that light, it's pretty surprising they can be herded around at all.
