Beach Crazy

Now that I have your attention, can someone please go take a picture of the beach in front of Palms of Seagrove when they are down that way? The realty company I booked with told me there had been white sand restored. True or False?:idontno:

I seem to remember posting some photos of that property a few months ago. Off the top of my head, I seem to remember there being white sand added to the bluffs. However, there was no beach nourishment done in SoWal other than what you are reading about lately near the Okaloosa County line.

I'll go back and check your gallery, thanks!

Beach Crazy, I know it sounds funny, but when you're on the beach, it's not the raggedy dunes that you're looking at. It's the water! Even when you take a walk, your eyes are still on the water and the sky. After a precursory glance, I don't even notice the dunes at all. Everything else looks so magnificent (water especially) that the dunes are superfluous, so don't worry too much about how much restoration has been done.

And I like the look of the dunes when they're raggedy in their natural state. They are already softening and getting some sand and growth on them. I figure I'll take what Mother Nature gives and call it beautiful and meant to be. I, too, can't wait to get to SoWal (I'm saying that about every hour now because the count-down has begun).
