I saw your d/fw as your location. I was confused until you recently stated you were in Texas. I now realize you are in Dallas/Fort Worth area. Up until now, I thought you were in Destin/Fort Walton area - confusing, eh?

Are Destin and Ft. Walton known as d/fw? Most of the time, Dallas and Ft. Worth are abbrevited as DFW.

I here you, but Destin/ Ft Walton are only 15-20 miles away, and her user name is DestinDreamin. I thought it was weird that she dreams of destin. I guessed she actually lived in Ft Walton.

If I lived in d or fw, I would be dreaming of living in SoWal!!! As I stand today, I live in the D of DFW and I am dreaming of arriving to enjoy life in SoWal on Sept. 30!!!!!

SJ--Sorry to confuse you--d/fw is just a lot easier to type than grapevine, tx. i used destindreamin because i use it on a couple of other sites and it's also easier to just have to remember one name--that goes with old age! I'm all about things being easier!

How's Grapevine? I hear you about trying to remember names and numbers...funny how the old brain can remember and forget!

We love Grapveine, but the traffic sucks! Would love to move to "somewhere" on the Emerald Coast, but hate to think about leaving kids/grandkids. We've thought about just buying a big old house and bringing them all with us. Of course, someone in the group would have to work ! At this stage in my life, as I said, I'm not into things that require too much effort-- ;-)

Someone asked why my amphibians had switched to insects. The picture of this reptile which I took a moment ago, may provide the answer. This is one of two Black Racers which hangs out in my yard. They love to eat frogs and lizards. They are not poisonous.
