AZ sheriff blames political rhetoric

New posts
So here we are 1 month later...

Sometimes it's necessary to get out on the streets and "get a little bloody," a Massachusetts Democrat said Tuesday in reference to labor battles in Wisconsin.

And sometimes it's nice to see that you CAN have thousands of people peacefully protest...................and that guns and violence are not the answer!

.
It has been heartening to watch 70,000 to 100,000 people peacefully protest with passion! It's been a long time since seeing that kind of democracy in action. Even the labor unions have expressed the willingness to compromise on pension pay and health benefit pay adjustments.
Now if Wisconsin's governor could just be more like Gov. Christie, progress would be much easier. Walker seems to be stuck on not compromising, and it sure looks like it is more about breaking the union's bargaining rights than fiscal responsibility (because the unions have conceded in that respect it appears).

How can you so casually disregard everything that's taken place and all the people who've been involved in all the marches and protests over the last two years? That's really, hmm, what's the right word, 'elitist' of you. Yes I think that fits.

I'm sure your news sources didn't report the arrests...

After shoving healthcare on us you really expect the right to be respectful?

It would be funny if it was not so sad how liberals slammed the Tea Party over and over for their "passion" and then so convienently gloss over this sort of discourse:

Wisconsin?s Gov. Walker Is not Hitler | The News Journal | delawareonline.com

Just like the Republican congressman was forced to resign for posting a racy picture on Craigs list but the dopehead Democrat can stay:

idlewind - Most of my friends and family, and from what I can tell most on this message board, view the people with Hitler signs and hate signs as idiots who need to be called out on it. Sure, it may be their right to express themselves but regardless whether it is at a Tea Party rally, Stewart - Colbert rally, Wisconsin protest .... other ralliers/protesters should make it known to them that it is unacceptable. I want to believe that many of those at the Wisc. protest have done so. :idontno:

On another note, I read where there were about 3,000 Tea Partiers mixed in with the 60 -70,000 protesters in Wisconsin who were up to no good.

Tea Party Leader Plans to Infiltrate Union "Goons"

"Williams later updated the post to report that tea partiers in multiple states, including Iowa, Colorado, and Massachusetts, were calling in to plan "their own creative ruses" for embarrasing the union demonstrators. "Several have also reminded me that we have a distinct advantage in that the SEIU primarily represents non-English speaking illegal aliens so we will be the ones whose comments will make air!!!!" he wrote:

Our goal is to make the gathering look as greedy and goonish as we know that it is, ding their credibility with the media and exploit the lazy reporters who just want dramatic shots and outrageous quotes for headlines. Even if it becomes known that we are plants the quotes and pictures will linger as defacto truth."

Face it - there are wackos and haters out there. Sometimes it's hard to believe where it all comes from:
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller (R) dismissed his deputy for posting on Twitter that police should "use live ammunition" against the Wisconsin protesters.
