His whole Curious George CD was great for the beach!

For our August trip, I want to compile some "beach music" on my iPod. If you had to pick one song to bring to the beach, what would it be? (OK, you can add more than one). Mine would be:

"In the Morning" by Nina Simone

okay little miss paula-iPod, I'm so uncool that I've never even seen an iPod up close. Tell me why this is a good thing for me to learn about and invest in, such as the advantages, etc regarding music.

Tootsie, I am wondering the same thing. And what is the difference between an iPod and a MP3 player?

iPod is an MP3 player--kind of like Motrin is ibuprofen.

I guess it depends on if you're listening to it with earbuds and only have to please yourself, or if you have an iPod interface for your car or plan to play the music from your computer's playlist and thus have to please others.

Right now I'm liking Cherish's "Do It To It" and Busta's "I Love My Chick," and I'm still not tired of Bubba's "Ms. New Booty." But my husband wouldn't want to listen to that nor would anyone else I know other than our daughter.
