As I predicted in another thread, beachfront owners will be stepping up the legal enforcement of their private property (littoral and riparian) rights. They have no other choice.
Until the public comes to the education that there exists private beach to the Mean High Water Line (or ECL in renourished beaches), expect more and more trespassing charges and pressure on local politicians and law enforcement in order to secure these property rights.
