BENEFIT CARWASH MAY 25 and 26th

[30A Skunkape]

Sorry to double post, but just wanted to make sure the word got out. Carwash to benefit the family of fallen Sgt. Padgett. May 25 and 26 from 10AM to 3PM at the Winn Dixie in Destin (where Hwy 98 and old Hwy 98 split on the western end). They need volunteers to help Friday as many firemen will be at a funeral. See my thread on the toy drive for more info!

I think Skunky means the eastern end of 98 and old 98, across from the Factory Stores (outlet mall), which would be the western end of SoWal.

Yes, yes, sorry. Thanks for the clarification! Heading out the door now!

Dargvader and I just returned from an afternoon of carwashing. It was great;if you can swing by, please do. There is no set price, just donate something and you will actually get a pretty good car wash and dry (very fast, too-about 6 guys working in tandem will knock out an SUV in about 5 minutes). They also have BBQ sandwiches and hot dog lunches for sale. I will give a final total on how much $$$ was raised when it is over tomorrow, but as of this afternoon, the profit was a little over $600. Please swing by and support this cause! By the way, video on Channel 7 tonight at 10PM!
