One Chi ceramic flat iron now under bed, ready to be wrapped! Thank god for overstock.com. I came in just under $100 and it was exactly the model that Fyl wanted. (You're not saying that oh yes and it HAS to be a Chi!) She will be one very happy little teenager Christmas morning.

I spent $30 on a ceramic flat iron and it is crap. Now I see why you need a "Chi".

i had to share this with you sentimental folks. my mom called me and said my pop came to work and took her to lunch today, (he's been on vacation since the 2nd week of dec. and they work at the same place), and he was all dressed up with khaki pants and a nice sweater. mom said he even had his fly zipped (he tends to forget that !) they had a nice lunch at the new mexican restaurant, then he took her to the jewelry store and told her she could pick out anything she wanted for christmas/anniversary (their 45th anniv. is next year). unlike me, mom is very conservative when it comes to jewelry, so she said she got a nice 4 diamond ring for her right hand. she is as excited as a school girl with a crush. didn't know pop was so romantic

The best gift that I got was to see smiles on the faces of love ones! I took in a homeless 19 year old. he was sleeping in a laundry matt at night. He has a job but didn't have a place to live. since I took him in, we saved his money and now he is looking for a place of his own. He's a really good kid that needed someone to care and help him. Isn't that what life is all about?
