Best Public Radio Station now on net

[Smiling JOe]

For all of you peeps who listen to the radio through the internet, WNCW 88.7, which broadcasts from the outskirts of Asheville, NC, is one of the best public radio stations I have ever listened to. I just discovered that they broadcast over the net at www.wncw.org The music format varies greatly, but they have some of the best music being broadcast over the air waves today.

I've become addicted to my XM radio which I got for Christmas. I wasn't too pleased when I opened it on Christmas, but I spend a lot of time in the car being a taxi for my kids, so getting great radio in the car is a life saver. I like the talk radio and music, while my husband loves the comedy stations. Can't listen to those though when the kids are in the car!

Have you used the XMradio on your computer at home? It is easy to set up the account and then you have the benefit in your house....loved it during Christmas! This device is really good for people who travel everyday. It is so frustrating to keep trying to find a radio station in every town.
