bike theft

Hi,

My family and I visited Seacrest beach last year for the first time and loved it so much we decided to buy a condo there. We are coming back next month and are excited to bring our beach cruisers and explore the bike paths in the area.

I was wondering if there is much of a bike theft problem in the area
in general? It certainly seems like there wouldn't be a problem but it would be inconvenient to come out of a store and have a long walk home!

Anybody have any recommendations on the type of lock they use, if any?

A good combo lock will do. There have been, on rare occasions, bikes stolen, even at Watercolor.We're not living in Hooterville any more. It's still safe to walk the streets at night.
