What are people doing on this Black Friday?

I had pumpkin pie for breakfast and am waiting for relatives to arrive for a visit.

Mama Scooterbug went to the pet food store, but that is the ONLY shopping we will be doing.

Consensus last night among the family was that we cannot thing of ANYTHING we want badly enough to camp out in front of a store or deal with crazy rude shoppers at 6 am.

Ha-ha! One crazed shopper apparently tried to cut in line and threatened people w/ a gun when they objected. Sheriff's comment "She'll be spending her shopping money on bail."

We are still in our jammies, watching football, and eating yummy leftovers for all meals.

No shopping. I've bought some stuff online from the newlyweds' registries. We'll have a few token, inexpensive gifts for ourselves under the tree so we won't look like Scrooges.

That being said, there is a pearl necklace that I'd really like for my birthday on 12/22. ;-) But that can be purchased online.
