There is not a good enough deal to get me up to go shopping at 4 am! I don't care if they are GIVING out laptops or diamonds at the door. :roll:
I'll think of you when I wake up from my turkey coma (20 lb bird just went on the grill and I think it might be snowing again) approximately 5 hours after you start Black Friday shopping. We went shopping sunday and monday and will now avoid stores & malls like the plague for the rest of the week!

Holy schlamoly.
We got there at 11:55, and the parking lot was COMPLETELY full; we had to park at a neighboring shopping center. We saw at least two charter buses.
The line to get into Coach was insane; I bumped into a kid I used to teach, and she said that if we got in line then (at about 12:30), we couldn't expect to get in the door until daylight. I saw a lady with a Coach shopping bag, and she said they got in line at 9 PM and got in about 10:30 (the store didn't actually close tonight.) The line in the toy store was so awful that I couldn't actually get to the toys.
My friend Wendy just laughed. It cured either of us of ever wanting to go Black Friday shopping again, and it was funn to watch the crowds. There were small children there, babies in strollers, college kids, old people, and some sort of Asian field trip. More than half the people we saw were Asian, which is not part of the usual demographic for that outlet mall. (It's usually mostly redneck.)
Craziness. I think I'll just go to Wal Mart in the wee small hours sometime next week...
