Blithe Spirit needs set pieces...

Hello everyone! As you all know, Seaside Rep is putting on a production of Blithe Spirit. There are a few crucial set pieces that we haven't acquired yet, and we're hoping for your help. If you have any of the following items and you're willing to donate/let us borrow them, please let me know ASAP!!!!!


As of this moment, we need a couch and an armchair that are somewhat older in style. We also need a table with four (4) chairs. They don't need to match, but it would be kinda cool.


I'll be adding to this list as we come across things we need, so please keep checking back. We appreciate all your help and support!

I hope someone comes to your rescue, but as an alternative perhaps Caring and Sharing could loan y'all what you need, provided they have it, for a small donation. Can't hurt to ask.

You may have already explored this avenue, but I'll throw it out there anyway:

My local HS/alma mater gets their furniture for shows from local 2nd-hand stores, antique stores and even from stores that sell new furniture. I once worked in a furniture store, and know that they sometimes have pieces that have to be marked down or tossed because of some small but fatal defect which would not matter in a show. Also about half the time that we delivered a sofa, table/chairs, etc., the buyer would ask us to dispose of the old ones.

In return for the use of the furniture, the HS would give the business a large ad and a shout-out at the show.
