Blue Gulf Resort Neighborhood

Does anyone live in this little neighborhood right behind 30A - near The Village and Ventana Dunes? Some of the streets are Marlin, Flounder, Triggerfish, etc...

I'd appreciate any thoughts on the area.

Thanks
G

Your thread title says it all. It reached its prime back in the early 70's. When the restaurant / hotel part burned combined with the big housing bust of the 70's, the whole place fell on hard times. All of the beachside facilities are long gone; however, a lot of the cottages are still around. A lot are permanent homes, but I'm guessing some are available for rent.

Are you looking to buy or rent?

Thank you for the information. I am learning a lot on this forum.

We bought a lot - pretty sure we are going to build. It seems very quaint despite the few homes that are still in need of some flipping/tlc.

Also, I am a lap swimmer and was told I could take out membership at The Village for swimming. Does anyone use the facilities? I can do my gym workout at home - I just gotta have a pool when gulf isn't cooperative.

Thanks again

We call it the brick yard. Make sure you see the membership at the Village in writing.
