That critter looks alot like an orangutan on the side of 30A (at least a stretch of wooded area not clear cut yet). There are no known primates in SOWAL other than Homo sapiens, ergo, IT IS A 30A SKUNKAPE!!!!  :clap_1: :clap_1: :rolling:

Get it?;-)

I think so, but at the risk of being totally gullible, is that a photograph that you took of something not quite identified?

The truth is out there...no more clues!

Totally creepy. I have lived in Inlet Beach for almost 25 years. My parents leased some of their land to some friends to put their camper on when they came down for visits. My grandmother would come down on occasion and stay in their camper if they weren't here. One night when I was about 8 years old, she was down and I was staying with her in the camper. I woke up to very loud crashing sounds like something very large coming through the woods toward the camper. All I could see out of the small window by the bed, which was one of those small rectangular windows close to the top you saw a lot of in small campers back in the day, was the moon. As the crashing got closer, I saw something pass between the camper window and the moon, completing obstructing my view of the moon. I guess the height to have been about 8 feet. The camper is still there and it had such a profound effect on me, that I did a little bit of measuring to see approximately what height I was looking at. The next morning, there was damage to trees and brush all around the camper. My dad wrote it off as a deer that couldn't find his way through the brush. I know what I saw though. I suspect after seeing your picture and recalling this memory, I shan't sleep tonight. I still live there. Not the same house, but the same property.
