Veteran rocker Bob Dylan has slammed modern music, calling it "atrocious".

The 65-year-old legend lamented the arrival of CDs and said he hadn't heard a decent record for the past 20 years.
Bob added that he could understand why people downloaded music for free.
"Well, why not? It ain't worth nothing anyway," he told Rolling Stone magazine. "You listen to these modern records, they're atrocious, they have sound all over them.
"There's no definition of nothing, no vocal, no nothing, just like... static."
The singer - who has made eight albums in the last two decades - was disheartened that his new record sounded so much better in the studio than it did on disc.
"Even these songs probably sounded 10 times better in the studio when we recorded 'em," he said. "CDs are small. There's no stature to it." Bob's new album, ironically entitled Modern Times, is due to be released on August 29.
