This is brilliant media coverage about the media coverage of the Tiger incident!!!

By referencing other media outlets he's covering the Tiger Woods story as much as anybody. I guess he's intentionally poking fun at himself in the process?? From the comments it doesn't look like anybody else saw it that way. Now, I wonder how much that golf club would sell for on ebay....

You read it just as I did and exactly the way I believe it was intended. It was nicely self depricating. Funny stuff on the golf club, LS!!!

Uh oh, he was cheating on his wife with some hottie model out in California. The model has him on her voice mail telling her to remove him from her phone because his wife "went through my phone". Busted! No wonder his wife tried to pound him into the dirt with that golf club.

It's what we've been wondering for days -- and now, we finally have an answer to the golf club mystery.

An official tells TMZ Tiger Woods' wife, Elin Nordegren, used a wedge to blast out the two windowshttp://www.tmz.com/2009/12/02/tiger-woods-elin-nordegren-golf-wedge-suv-window-damage-club/# on his SUV.

There are several types of wedges. We don't know which one Elin chose ... but Tiger typically only carries a lob wedge and a sand wedge.

For all you non-golfers, a wedge is used for short shots -- usually around the green. It's angled with a high loft.
Golfers use wedges to get out of tight spots and unplayable lies. Oh the iron-y.

And, a purported second mistress that he cheated with on the mistress and the wife? OH my! I'll bet some of those endorsement contracts wither away in 2010.
