I thought it was funny. I think the Bush camp is on a massive image retooling campaign. Because this weekend, not only did they trot him out to laugh at himself , they sent Condi and Bush's new chief of staff on the Sunday shows to talk about -- get this -- conservation, supply and demand in the oil markets, and the need for higher mpg standards for automakers. My guess is next week, in part II in an effort to tick off Al "An Inconvenient Truth" Gore during what is supposed to be his time in the spotlight, they will start talking about how conservation could also help with the global warming problem. Everybody sing: Kum-ba-yah...
