Anyone know of a good recipe for Bushwackers? I looked online and there are about a hundred different ones. The wife just emailed me and said she wanted some tonight.

I know. I read my post and said, "somebody's gonna have a good time with that one."

An good old friend of mine just sent me his Bushwacker special. I think you'll enjoy..... :biggrin:

OK, there's really no wrong way to do this. I've never used a recipe. I just add stuff til it tastes right. Here's what you need:

Clear rum (not spiced)
Kaluha
Cr?me de Cacao
Vanilla Ice Cream (preferably Blue Bell)
Ice
Blender

Fill the blender about 3/4 with ice. Pour in Rum, Kaluha and Cr?me de Cacao. More rum than Kaluha, more Kaluha than Cr?me de Cacao. You be the judge. You can always add more of something after you taste it. Start blending. Add ice cream until it's as thick as you want. I say about 6-7 scoops, probably. Stop blending. Taste. Add more of whatever you think it needs. Blend. Taste. Drink the rest of the blender and then make more, adjusting your ingredients based on experience. Drink that blender. Make another. Note loss of feeling in your cheeks. Drink more. Run naked through the front yard.

I don't know if I should be worried. She wants some, so she needs a pitcher of bushwackers? Uh oh. Time to go to the gym.
