Yes- there are cheap hot dogs, gourmet hot dogs (?????), kosher dogs, street dogs, smoky dogs, on-the-grill dogs.....I have to know them all so they don't get me  !

In a cruel twist of fate, my children LOVE hotdogs.

Oh, those types. You forgot to mention raw dogs, which I have been known to eat as a kid.;-)

This is weird. I can remember going to the fridge as a kid and eating an ice cold hot dog. What's up with that?

I forgot to include my SPAM phobia. My dad loved the stuff. If he didn't inhale the litle pink loaf at the first sitting, he would place it carefully on a plate, wrap it in Saran, and put it in a very visible spot on the fridge self. Right next to the freakin' Vienna sausages. He was a cardiologist's dream.

Spam and the Spam jelly it sits in is not something you want to see with a hangover in the morning! I was always scared to open the fridge.

I wonder how a bologna wrapped hotdog would taste for New Years?

OK, now you are just being mean and hateful to me. You are trying to make me sick! :bang:

ooh ooh ooh....VIENNA SAUSAGES!!!! Used to slice them up and put them on whitebread with mustard!!!! How is it I am still alive??????

You know, I'm sure any cook worth his salt could update that concoction for modern sensibilities. How about prociutto wrapped around some of those fancy-dancy sausages by Amy that Williams-Sonoma sells for $20/pound?
