Car rental

[peapod1980]

I'm looking for one for the weekend; anybody have any suggestions, sites, coupon codes, anything to get a good rate?
(And no one has to offer me rides to and from the airport; this thread is not--I repeat, not--a thinly veiled way to bum rides!)
Thanks!

Pea, I usually rent from Alamo on-line. They offer a weely and weekend specials on-line discount. http://www.alamo.com

If you are coming into VPS on Friday morning, I'll be there.

I had a good experience with Enterprise in 2005, after an accident which totaled my own vehicle.

I usually get the best rates from Alamo. And if you are a member at Costco, you can get additional discounts from Alamo. Enjoy your weekend in SoWal!

We've always had good luck with Enterprise too, out of VPS or PFN.

Not 'til Saturday for me! Think I found as good a rate as I can with National--thanks, everyone!
