I think the new car search kicks off today. Bdarg has been nosing around on the internet. Kate wants a car with sparkles.

I hate car shopping almost worse than bra shopping. But my sanity is at stake. Restoring an old vehicle is not for me. I'm back to "new with a warranty"!

But here is my problem- I think I gave away my extra SoWal sticker. When I get a new car, I will need a new sticker. Maybe someone can send me one? And of course my old "Grayton Beach -Slice of Heaven" license plate will be pried off the the old car!

I think this new car thing gives you the perfect opportunity to come to Grayton and pick up a fresh sticker to match the fresh car. Also, you need to go by Pandora's and pick up a "Nice Dogs Strange People" sticker.

I know I know. I'm losing my Red Bar sticker and Will's camp sticker too. But I am most concerned about my SoWal sticker- the others can wait until I am there. And I didn't know that Pandora's is the place to get the dog sticker- thanks! I won't be able to see out the rear view mirror! Oh yeah- the Dread Clampitt sticker. Am I forgetting any?

Hey, maybe I can save you some trouble, Jenay! I have a '93 Volvo 240 wagon that seats 6--jumpseat in the back, even! Runs like a champ, but it's a non-glittery white... Ask Kate what color sparkles she wants on it, and consider it done!

My current family truckster is a '94 Range Rover- so the '93 Volvo doesn't help in getting closer to a car young enough to have a warranty!!!! But I love old Volvos too. Wish I could keep my old car- but I just don't feel like spending the money on the cosmetic stuff I want to do to it. I'm trying to be practical in 2006! May have to keep my cool new stereo though!!!

And if KY Oyster Eater ever surfaces again, I need to tell him the sticker he brought me will have a new owner at some point.
