I was kind of bummed to discover that Karl Rove is a John D. MacDonald fan. He disclosed this in the Proust Questionnaire in this month's Vanity Fair. I haven't told Bdarg- I am afraid he will throw up.

If Bdarg can't take it, tell him to try Elmore Leonard. He's the best. IMHO.
 
At the very least.... Hiaasen for Governor!

Love his books and his insight into Florida.. When I first moved here someone turned me on to one of his books and I just kept on reading. I learned a lot about Florida through Hiaasen. Funny guy:biggrin:
