It's the connecting forest road from 283 to 83. I'll give it another 24 hours and post pictures of it myself. ;-)

By chance is it that rusty square pipe about half way through that's connected to a well of some sort? It's about 6" square and 2' tall.

I took a photo of it, but it's my wife's camera and the picture was over 3 meg in size and this site keeps choking on it. I've given up after trying to upload it after 5 tries.

Ready to leave that camera in the forest....

I also got pics of signs out there that say; "Road closed to vehicles". What's the point of a road if you can't take a vehicle.....ah, never mind. been a long day

You can upload the picture to photo bucket and then embed the picture here. It's actually a tap that runs down to the aquifer, they hook the pump truck up to it and have plenty of water if they need it.
