So glad you have power! My heart goes out to everyone that has been effected by these deadly storms. Love you and keeping you close in my heart and prayers. Please let us know what we can do to help. :wub:Donations, websites with what we can all do from here.

Sheila, here is a link to some great information on how people can help. http://blog.al.com/montgomery/2011/04/volunteer_response_to_alabama.html

Thank you for thinking of us. Love you to!

Glad your safe!! I was thinking about you guys!

Thank you COS!!

It's good to know you're safe. I'm sure this has taken a toll on your whole state, and I know people are reaching out to help. The word neighbor reaches far out in times of need. Stay safe.

The outpouring of help has been amazing. People are really pulling together to help each other and it is very much appreciated by all.

Glad to hear you and yours are safe. Many lost friends in Tuscaloosa, so it is always good to get good news.

You mean you have had people you know lost in Tuscaloosa? I'm sorry.

OMG, KDW! This was totally off my radar. Thank goodness you have power and are okay.

Thanks BR.

So glad you are okay!

Have we done a Sowal roll call for folks in that area?

.
I also thought about Land Locked. KDW - where does he live?

.

He lives in Montgomery and we have been in contact. He and his family are ok. Thank goodness!

Glad you are okay KDW. What a mess this is

Thank you Otter!!! It sure is! I am glad you all are ok as well.

Last I heard on the news, there were about 300 dead and more than that injured. I couldn't believe it til I saw the video of that tornado. It was a monster. I'm glad you and your family are ok. I'm so sorry about the families that lost loved ones.

So glad you have power and life can return to an ebb and flow. Take care of yourself and family and let me know if you need anything. I am only 50 miles north.

Darlene - so glad you and your friends and family are all okay! I have so many friends and family from Birmingham to North Alabama and somehow they are all okay. I spent several hours last weekend watching the coverage to find out all I could about what all was going on - it was mostly centered on Tuscaloosa. Even though I heard about a lot of power outtage in the Huntsville area, it was hard to find any real coverage on the effects of the storm in that area. Frustrating!!! My best friend lives in Decatur and is very involved in the community efforts - but cell phone coverage was so terrible that it was hard to find out much - except that my friends were okay.
