Thanks everyone. I am doing OK. Losing Daddy was horrible. Yet the service for him was comforting. My nephew plays accostical guitar and my neice sings. They sang some of Daddy's favorite songs. That was very moving.
My son actually led the service. He's entering the seminary this fall, and mother asked him to do Daddy's funeral I thought it would be too hard for him since he was so close to his grandfather. But he did a great job. It was at times filled with laughter and other times sad of course. It was a wonderful trubute to Daddy to have his grandchildren take such pride in doing the service for him. We did have a reading of the lovely poem that Paula posted also. I think Daddy would have like it all.
I am a long way from normal, but I always was. I take comfort in Gods promises, my memories of Daddy, my family and my friends (this includes all of you) I'm hanging on tightly to the Lord and looking forward to fewer tears and a brighter day. Thanks for thinking of me.
