Exceptional visiting talent supports local organization

Corey McKern is a rising star on the Opera Scene and has performed with the Santa Fe Opera and others in major roles. He's sung major roles in the Barber of Seville, The Mikado and The Magic Flute to name a few.

His parents live on Sandestin and he will be visiting for the holidays and graciously volunteered his time and talent to help out the Canaan Foundation and its women's recovery home, the Path of Grace in Freeport.

His fiancee Chandra, a spectacular talent as well, will sing with him and they will do a program including Christmas music, Opera and show tunes.

This is a semi-formal (dress like for church) event and there will be great food at the Burnt Pine Golf Clubhouse on Sandestin. There is not a designated charge, but all donations to the Canaan Recovery Foundation will be appreciated.

Be there, you will glad you did not miss this!

I would like to help with the silent auction. How can I donate a portrait session from Avalon Photography? Sounds like a really wonderful evening!

[johnb]

That would be great Amy, you can call me at 974-4573 and give me the details. We are definitely grateful for your offer and it will help make the silent auction a success.

Thanks so much,

John Broussard
