Emerald Coast Associates, Inc. is a Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firm located in Santa Rosa Beach, seeking a Civil Engineering CAD Technician. This new team member will be responsible for design and production of plans and project documents under the supervision of the Project Engineer. Qualified applicants will have 3-5 years’ experience in the design of Site/Civil Plans for Subdivisions and Commercial Developments inclusive of site geometry, grading and drainage, utility design, and permit drawings.
An ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with co-workers, subordinates and clients as well as County/Agency Review Staff. You must be self-motivated and have the ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
Civil Engineering CAD Technician
Required Skills and Experience:
AutoCad Civil 3D Design (minimum 3 years)
Must be able to understand and interpret engineering drawings and applications as they are applied to various contracts.
Analytical and mathematical skills as related to engineering operation practices and procedures.
Ability to provide accurate project and operating data in a timely manner.
Must possess knowledge of applicable standard codes.
Must be able to work under time and budgetary constraints.
