We are going to the "our end of the street" Christmas party tonight, but it doesn't start 'til 8. My nose is red, my eyes are puffy, but since I kinda pushed the hosts to have the party this year, I have to go. So with a few glasses of "personality" and some Sudafed, I'm hoping to be somewhat lively by 8!

I was busy typing out a French menu for you, that's where I was! I have an empty glass of red wine right by the computer. Time for a refill. ;-)

We're going out to the neighborhood version of the Red Bar tonight. The band playing is "Pirates of the Carribean" and according to the paper, it's acoustic/folk Irish and old time. I haven't heard them before but it sounds like it should be fun. I mean, with a name like that???
