: Struggling to fly somewhere today? You aren't alone. Already 2,665 flights cancelled and 2,977 delayed.

I have a customer, down here setting up his vacation house, who is is flying back to Cinncinnati, where the high will be minus 9 degrees. That will be the high temperature tomorrow in that strange place called "The North".

It will be a balmy 7 here tomorrow. If I was your customer, I'd stay in the south!

Our flight to Michigan was cancelled on Sunday and they couldn't rebook us for Monday and we had to go to work by Wednesday so we decided to rent a car and drive home. Took us 26 hours for what is usually a 17 hour at most drive, with the last stretch from Cincinnati to Ann Arbor Michigan (which normally takes about 4 hours) taking about 10 hours because we had to drive 20-30 mph due to icy roads. -14 degrees, too. Had to put air in the tires in that -14 degree weather, too. But, we're safe and warm and happy at home now and feeling lucky that we got home safely. Lots of cars spun out on the sides of the roads, but fortunately there didn't seem to be serious accidents with injury at least not while we were driving.
