You win SJ....but SoWal and it's people are not doing well. Except Ms. Crow, who looked and sounded FABULOUS last night on SNL!!!! Mountain Film was exceptional but bone chilling cold last night. The sunsets are tear producing!

I digress...do the right thing SJ....come on home...we miss you.

The most disturbing news we've heard since Ivan was reported by my mother last night, the vandalization of the Catholic Church at Santa Rosa Beach. The news article says there was over $100K in damage and satanic symbols drawn in the sanctuary, stained glass windows smashed, etc. While I am not a fan of dress codes or other extreme control measures in schools, the whole Goth and neo-Nazi thing with some kids is highly disturbing. Our area of CA recently had a senseless murder committed by a 15-year old who was obsessed with Goth. I hope the sheriff apprehends the responsible party for this senseless crime at our beaches. Does anyone on this board have further info?
 
Y'know, I've been thinking that a 5,000th post is someting momentous. Would you want to waste it on a reply like "Dead fish are still washing up on the beach" or would you say something esoteric and baffling like "Rosebud...rosebud."
