Concealed weapon permits in Walton County

New posts
Our Federal Executive branch of government (specifically, the Department of Homeland Security) is requisitioning 1.6 billion - billion, with a "B"- rounds of ammunition. That is enough to start a 5 year land war in Asia or a 20 year US civil war. It is actually more than 10 years worth of ammunition for all departments that do range training. Added to their order are an unspecified number of armored personnel carriers. (The kind with gun ports and 50 caliber machine gun mounts on top.) The Social Security Administration Office of the Inspector General ordered 174,000 rounds of hollow point ammunition (the kind you use to kill people, not the kind you use to do target practice) for its 300 armed employees.

This is par for the course in a socialist military dictatorship; but it's unheard of in a developed democratic republic.

Ha! Love rightwing conspiracies, they just make my day. The gument is buying bullets to shoot every rightwinger and NRA member! Ha Ha. Better go hide, your name is first on their list. There was even a dark skinned man seen boarding Air Force One! Arrrrrrr, I want my country back. What a bunch of idiots.

I heard the military was buying vast quantities of small arms ammo as well as bombs, missiles and various other aircraft and wing mounted weapons. It must be for a takeover of the population! Run, hide, it's Armageddon! There was even talk of suspending constitutional rights. Oh wait, that was Republicans talking about the Boston bomber. You know the one, a fricken US citizen.

Tough week for poor Bob!! Not only did the politicos fail to pass sweeping gun reform legislation, the test tube of tough gun restrictions that is Massachusetts seems to have yielded a most sound acceptance of his null hypothesis. But he did have a minor win with the ricin mailing redneck.
100 million guns in this country, mass murder is becoming a regular occurrence. what would the sage of seagrove do??

New Englanders need to grow a stick. I once had a job up there. Bunch of wusses didn't know talent when they seed it. If they would man up and not be such cowards, they could have taken care of the bombers 2nd amendment style instead of hidin' in their homes at the request of the socialist military police force. I've never seen such incompetence in my life. I can't believe this is the same place Paul Revere rang the bells to tell the British or maybe it was the English to let them know that they had the guns and the weren't gunna to take 'em away ya know ding, dong, ding, dong, pow, pow, pow, bang, bang.

How about the amazing job those big government union thugs did catching those bombers?

I am SO not coming to save you from the evil communist fascist zombie Chinese that will be invading by spaceship.

went to wal mart to select a 98 dollar 'soon to be rusted' beach cruiser. sporting goods had an empty bullet display case. the bubbas are gettin ready to rumble .

If you really want to know, I'll tell you. First, I would point out that the majority of non-suicide gun related deaths occur among minority communities in the inner cities. This is a direct consequence of failed poverty elimination programs and rotten to the core public schools. I would remedy those problems and watch a dramatic decline in gun deaths. For the suburban kids who seem so fond of shooting up schools, movie theaters, etc, I would try to figure out a way to empower counselors, psychologists, doctors or anyone else to declare an insane individual insane without fear of a bunch of PC blowback. The criminally insane could be closely monitored and their living spaces could be kept reasonably gun free. That makes way more sense than supposedly sane people imposing insane gun restriction on a law respecting population hoping to impact criminal activity.

I would agree with most of what you said, oh wise one. The poverty and ****ty schools are what keep violent crimes in motion. Too many unwanted children coming into this world really starts the ball rolling. Birth control and abortions just maybe reasonable small steps in that portion of the problem.
But what is the matter with our government installing some kind of regulation on guns. The fact that our government does nothing, is basically an endorsement that guns, and more guns are a good thing.

To dumb this thing down, we are now a nation that considers guns as treasures and toys and there is simply no "parent" to say no, Johnny, it isn't right to kill....

Dammit, our government is condoning this!
