Concealed weapon permits in Walton County

New posts
Yeah. But those are cheapo guns. Who wants a gun that makes your hand bleed? That's what the internet is for. I promise my new skeet buddies they will not have their hands caught in gun parts! Ouch!
You don't know anything about firearms. I'll bet you are younger than some of my stereo gear.

My whole point with that post was to suggest that at the very least, a firearm poses some of the same risk as a dangerous power tool, and it is absurd to suggest that everyone needs put one in their hand and start using it. It would be like saying everyone needs to go out and buy a chainsaw without consideration of the fact that not everyone wants to have a big hulking blade spinning a foot from their head. Maybe not everyone wants to stand out in the hot sun with ear protection and sweat dripping down their protective goggles trying to pick off fake birds. Maybe they have a different idea about what constitutes the finer things in life.

@Bob

Are you trollin' me? Hahaha.

@Sam

Agreed. Like a chainsaw, a gun can inflict major damage or death on a human.

Two major problems with guns in society right now are: the lack of familiarity- causing accidental injury and death; and lack of respect for the sanctity of life and the power of a gun.

Here you have Senator Feinstein holding a rifle in an unsafe manner in a crowded area. Specifically, it is pointed into a crowd, with the bolt closed and her finger on the trigger.

Give a youngster a BB gun, and teach them safety. Let them go out in a field and plink on a soda can, and you've made a marksman- who ought to know not to point a gun at people. He might even grow up to be like this guy, who enjoys being in the field on a crisp autumn day, with his shotgun that costs more than all of our stereo equipment combined:

Give a youngster a Playstation and CoD MW3, and he is continuously exposed to simulated gun violence before his brain is mature. He doesn't get the safety training he would have if he had that BB gun. And when he grows up and is old enough to procure a gun for himself, he has a very different mental imprint.

I'm not trolling you. I'm telling you you sound like an ignorant right wing yahoo who knows nothing about guns. Explain to me the comment about no one wanting guns that can make your hands bleed. Include the 1911 in your answer, and then admit you know nothing about guns.

I just want to interject, I have no problem with BB guns having unlimited magazine capacity.:lol: I also think the guy with the shotgun looks like a douche.

Unlimited magazines for BB guns are fine with me too, but how are the toddlers gonna register their weapons when they can't even read and write. Their background checks will just say "burped and pooped".:cool:

burped,pooped,baptized, and very, very afraid.

I'm still trying to get the reasoning behind mortgaging the house to buy a shotgun when I could have a kick ass home theater at a fraction of the price.
