Congressman Allen Boyd's Yes Vote

[Lynnie]

I believe the Independents will grow exponentially now. A lot of people are tired of Dems and Reps. This whoring that went on last week and weekend is enough for me.

SWGB, how in the world do you have time to make over 16,000 posts? Retired?

Yes, he is tired. ;-)

Independents determine election outcomes. Maybe not in San Franscisco.

My point was that independents are just that, independent. Each side seems to think with any major shift that they have suddenly won the independents. Independents come from all walks of life, far left to far right, and everything in between. I guess we'll see what happens come November.

I'm guessing a hefty sum would exchange hands should a refund be issued!

Oh the independents! Of course how could we forget such a large single voice group.

Yes, and in Florida and most states, independents don't help you get nominated. You worry about that first. My hunch is that this was a calculated move by Boyd. Who really thinks independents vote democratic in NW Florida? I think he blew of the people who matter the least to his political success.
